Brookhaven Chili Cookoff Tickets Go On Sale Friday

Brookhaven, GA -- A limited amount of tickets go on sale Friday for the 5th Annual Brookhaven Chili Cook Off.

This year the festival will feature over 75 restaurant and amateur cooking teams competing for bragging rights, plaques, medals, cash and prizes totaling over $2,500.00. Each team will be cooking up chili and Brunswick Stew that can be tasted by festival goers.

An all-star line-up of judges will determine the winners of the contests. Festival goers can vote in the People's Choice Award competition crowning the festival's favorite chili team.

Other festival activities include live entertainment, a kid zone area and great food from Atlanta food trucks.

The neighborhood festival will return again this year to Brookhaven Park which is walking distance from the MARTA Brookhaven station.

A limited amount of chili tasting spoons tickets will be available in advance on the website and go on sale on July 15th. A portion of the proceeds benefit Atlanta Fundraising Foundation whose latest project is aimed at keeping impaired drivers off the streets of Atlanta.
