Brookhaven Fall Festival Makes Skyland Park Debut

The festival is being held in the brand new Skyland Park this coming weekend.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- The Brookhaven Parks & Recreation Department is hosting its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 20, from noon to 4 p.m. For the first time, the festival is taking place at Skyland Park, 2600 Skyland Drive. “Our Fall Festival will be a great way to showcase the new Skyland Park,” said Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden. “We’ll have volleyballs for the sand courts, hula hoops, Frisbees, and lawn games like Jenga Giant, Cornhole and ring toss for the open space area.”

Free food from the grill and other refreshments, as well as a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, DJ, and local vendors will also be part of the fun.

The new four-acre Skyland Park opened to the public on Sept. 29 and features two sand volleyball courts, a large open space area, ADA-accessible walkways, solar charging stations, two dog parks, hammocks, a picnic shelter, and a natural playground area.
