Brookhaven Family to Participate in Children's 15th Annual WSB Care-a-Thon
The Carter family will participate in Children's 15th annual Care-a-Thon, broadcasting from 5 a.m. on July 20 until 6 p.m. on July 21.
The annual WSB Care-a-Thon benefiting the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is quickly approaching, and Brookhaven has a hometown patient and family who will be featured on-air. Mary Tipton Carter will participate in this year’s Care-a-Thon.
During the 37-hour broadcast event, listeners will enjoy popular on-air personalities, special guests and inspiring interviews with patients. Participants will discuss the amazing journeys of Children’s patients, encouraging listeners to make donations to the Aflac Cancer Center. The Care-a-Thon will begin at 5 a.m. on July 20 and continue until 6 p.m. on July 21, and listeners can tune in on 95.5 FM or AM 750.
