Brookhaven Fields Civic Association Hosts 22nd Annual Yard Sale, A "Brookhaven Tradition"
Saturday, September 10 8AM-3PM

The Brookhaven Fields Civic Association's (BFCA) 22nd Annual Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 10 from 8AM to 3PM.
The event, hosted by the BFCA Social Committee, provides an opportunity for residents to sell conventional and unique personal items on their private property. Neighbors sell their wares in garages, front yards and driveways.
35 to 40 households are expected to participate, according to Yard Sale Chair, Patty Green. “The community-wide sale continues to grow every year and has evolved into a Brookhaven tradition,” said
Green.

Since its inception in 1994, the sale has been held the Saturday following Labor Day Weekend. Each year, bargain hunters keep an eye out for the signature hot pink signs leading them to hidden treasures.
Maps of locations will also be distributed at each of the participating houses, all located behind the Brookhaven MARTA, between North Druid Hills Road and Dresden Drive.

“Not only is the sale one of the best in Atlanta, it highlights the best of Brookhaven Fields. In addition to great
deals, you'll find kids selling lemonade and cookies. And at the end of the day, most neighbors donate their unsold items to charity, ” Green said.
Yard Sale organizers encourage shoppers to stop by the Brookhaven Farmer's Market on the corner of Dresden Drive and Fernwood Circle from 9AM-12PM.
