Brookhaven PD Becomes Official Center for Crisis Training
The department is also participating in this weekend's 5K walk for mental illness prevention.
The Brookhaven Police Department has become the official training center for DeKalb law enforcement agencies for crisis intervention training.
The department is partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to serve as the organization’s main training partner in DeKalb.
NAMI is also holding its annual 5K walk on Saturday, Sept. 26, in Grant Park.
