Brookhaven Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect

BROOKHAVEN GA -- Police have arrested and charged Deandre Jamara Parker, 33, of Atlanta, with armed robbery.

Parker is accused of robbing a pedestrian on Briarwood Road on Dec. 19 at around 6:20 am.

“Officers on scene made contact with the victim who provided a partial vehicle tag number and description of the suspect,” according to a statement from Brookhaven police. “On Dec. 28, police officers were conducting patrol on Buford Highway and observed the vehicle used in the armed robbery. A traffic stop was initiated and Parker was arrested without incident.”

Parker is also charged with two counts of firearm possession by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
