BROOKHAVEN, GA — Police have arrested two men and charged them with multiple counts of burglary and other charges.
Brookhaven police say Michael Crowder, 25, and Malcolm White, 26, both of Atlanta, were arrested on Tuesday after officers responded to a residential burglary in 2900 block of Clairmont Road.
Witnesses told police they saw both suspects attempting to break into an apartment. Police said both men tried to run away but were chased through the complex and apprehended.

Police said two stolen handguns were recovered at the scene, as well as a stolen vehicle.
The suspects have also been connected, police say, to a second burglary that occurred in late August in the same area. Police said a homeowner interrupted the burglary and White, when confronted, pointed a gun at the victim and her nine-year-old daughter.
