Brookhaven Police Respond to Anaconda Call, Find a Worm Instead

The worm was subdued and relocated without incident.

Brookhaven GA -- Local police say they received a call on Saturday evening about a large, anaconda-sized snake that had reportedly found in a resident’s kitchen.

When officers arrived, however, they found a worm instead.

“Officer Van Alen was able to subdue the snake in the kitchen and escorted said individual out of the home without incident,” according to a statement on the department’s Facebook page.

No word yet on exactly how or why the caller mistook the worm for a large reptile of questionable moral character.
