Capitol City Opera Company to present Hansel and Gretel for Families

Capitol City Opera Company will present Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, a children’s opera based on the Grimm brothers’ classic fairy tale.  Hansel and Gretel will be sung in English and is condensed to a child-friendly one hour.  Appropriate for the whole family, the tale of Hansel and Gretel focuses on the relationship between the two siblings and how they learn about honesty, safety and responsibility as they face the consequences of their actions.

When:  Saturday, September 6 at 2 p.m.
