Chamblee City Councilwoman Announces Campaign Kick-Off Event
Leslie Robson begins her quest for re-election with a fundraiser next Thursday.

Over the next four years, I will be committed to building stronger relationships with neighboring cities and working to make our Downtown District a success. Coming from a military family, I understand the importance of teamwork and how invaluable that is when getting things accomplished. I want to see every community in Chamblee thrive and prosper.”
Leslie Robson is currently listening to the voters of Chamblee so that she can continue to effectively represent their concerns at City Hall. “Together, we are making significant progress and I’m excited about building upon the groundwork we have already laid. Leslie was first elected to the Chamblee City Council in 2007 and re-elected in 2011. Since assuming office, she has been an advocate for the improvement of customer service at City Hall, working to help make the city run professionally and efficiently. To increase her knowledge and effectiveness as a public servant, Leslie has logged over 200 hours of credit in State and Local Government Public Policy & Practices Seminars – sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association and conducted by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia.

In addition to fulfilling her duties on city council, Leslie also serves as a Chamblee Downtown Development Authority Board Member and was instrumental in its founding. She is also on the Board of Directors for ArtsChamblee, and is a Member of the Chamblee Chamber of Commerce. In her community, Leslie is very active in the Huntley Hills Neighborhood Association, and also serves as a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain. Leslie and her husband Jim have been together for over 29 years and are proud residents of Chamblee for nearly two decades. The Election will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
