Chamblee Physician Arrested on Sexual Battery Charges

Chamblee police have arrested a local physician and charged him with two counts of sexual battery.

Dr. Jose Rios, who works at Primary Care Center of Chamblee, was arrested Friday morning.

“The Chamblee Police Department initiated an investigation into Dr. Rios’ actions after receiving several complaints,” according to a statement from the department. “The complaints ranged from inappropriate statements which were sexual in nature directed at mothers of pediatric patients to groping of the breasts and buttocks.”

Rios is currently in the DeKalb County jail.
