Chamblee Rail Trail Closing Temporarily

The Parkview on Peachtree developers are closing the trail on Monday for the construction of retaining walls.

CHAMBLEE, GA — The developers of Parkview on Peachtree are temporarily closing the Chamblee Rail Trail for the construction of retaining walls.

Connolly, the developers, say the closure will affect the area of the Rail Trail between the Peachtree Boulevard underpass and Keswick Park.

Construction fencing will be installed for public safety and signs will be posted at each end of the trail to notify pedestrians of the closure.

Parkview on Peachtree is set to open in 2017 and features 40,000 square feet of street-front shops, cafes and restaurants. It will also include 14,000 square feet of office space and 503 multi-family units.
