Chili Cookoff Less Than a Month Away
Stock up on your Pepto ... the 4th annual event is set for Saturday, Oct. 10.

More than 30 professional and amateur teams have already signed up to participate in this year’s 4th annual Brookhaven Chili Cookoff, set for Oct. 10 at Brookhaven Park.
Organizers say the family friendly event will feature live music and plenty of food offerings -- besides chili, of course -- from vendors such as Tex’s Taco, Fry Guy & The Atlanta Burger Truck food trucks.

The UGA football game will also be showing on a large screen TV.
A portion of the proceeds go to Releash Atlanta. Free parking is available at the MARTA Brookhaven station with a free shuttle service to the festival.

Tastings begin at noon. Ticket are $7.50 to $10 in advance; and $15 at the door for a Spoon event wristband.
