DEKALB COUNTY, GA – DeKalb County officials will hold a special meeting Thursday to certify election results from Nov. 3.

The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. so that the certification can be completed as soon as possible in order to allow the Board of Registration to begin a hand recount of the president race.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed Wednesday that a statewide recount by hand of all votes from last week's election will take place, a day after Republicans called for the labor-intensive measure.
