Dunkin' Donuts Celebrates Grand Opening of DD Green(TM) Achievement Restaurant with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony this Friday at 10AM

ATLANTA, GA (June 14, 2016) -- Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, today announced that it has opened its first Atlanta-area DD Green™ Achievement Restaurant in Doraville at 5872 Buford Highway. To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will host a ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 10 AM on Friday, June 17 attended by the Mayor of Doraville, Donna Pittman, and other local dignitaries. Guests will be welcomed with a free medium coffee, product samples and photo opportunities with beloved brand mascots, Cuppy and Sprinkles until noon. The new location is also part of Dunkin’ Donuts’ DD Green Achievement program, which aims to help franchisees build sustainable, energy-efficient restaurants.

The new restaurant is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and employs approximately 20 crew members. The restaurant provides a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ food and beverages in a fun and friendly atmosphere, offering a drive thru, outdoor seating, flat-screen television and free Wi-Fi Internet access.

As a DD Green Achievement restaurant, the location also includes sustainable features and practices including energy-efficient LED light fixtures, mechanical units and waste recycling. A DD Green Achievement plaque will be displayed in-store signifying the restaurant’s achievement in energy reduction and sustainable design.

Dunkin’ Donuts will serve a complete menu featuring its world famous freshly-brewed Hot and Iced Coffees, along with Espresso, Cappuccino and Lattes, and the recently introduced Macchiato. The brand’s beverage offerings also include Hot and Iced Teas, Smoothies made with real fruit and low-fat yogurt, Hot Chocolate and Coolatta® frozen beverages. Dunkin’ Donuts will also serve a full lineup of delicious donuts, bakery goods and sandwiches. All Dunkin’ Donuts menu items are always available any time of day, and guests are encouraged to customize their favorite food and beverages.

Sam Charania of Coffee Café LLC is the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee for the new restaurant in Doraville and currently operates 13 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Georgia.
