Ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service at Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church

The member churches of the Brookhaven Christian Ministries will celebrate the resurrection of the Lord with a traditional sunrise service on Easter Sunday, April 16th at 7am in the chapel of the Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church located behind Oglethorpe University at 3016 Lanier Drive. This annual service will include song, scripture, prayer and much more!

Rev. Zachary Bradley will be the featured speaker at this interdenominational service. Rev. Bradley is the pastor of Brookhaven Presbyterian Church, a 4 year old church that meets at Oglethorpe University. He is from Virginia Beach and was educated at Wake Forest University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is married to Robin and they have three daughters.

An offering will be collected to support a ministry that aids victims of human trafficking in the local area.

Member churches of the Brookhaven Christian Ministries include the following: Atlanta Vineyard, Brookhaven Christian Church, Brookhaven Presbyterian Church, Brookhaven United Methodist Church, Clairmont Baptist Church, Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church, Open Table Community, Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, St. James United Methodist Church, St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church, and Skyland United Methodist Church.

Immediately following the sunrise service, there will be a small reception.

The Brookhaven Christian Ministries is a group of churches from the Brookhaven Community that meets monthly to address the needs of local residents and foster community among our different congregations. All churches in the Brookhaven area are invited to join.
