Auditions for the 2012-2013 season will be held.
Membership in the AMYFC is open to high school students (grades 9-12) as well as college students. The audition will consist of the major scales required for the preliminary GMEA all-state and district band auditions; one or two solo pieces of the student’s choice that best demonstrate his or her technical and lyrical qualities OR the GMEA all-state etude; and two brief sight-reading excerpts.
