Are you ready to transform your life and our nation by tackling pressing problems in the community? Learn how entrepreneurs, innovators, and designers approach problems to develop new and exciting solutions. At Innovation Weekend @ The Iron Yard, rising 6th through 8th graders and 9th through 12th graders will learn and apply the fundamentals of design thinking, entrepreneurship, and innovation to address company- and student-driven challenges with a small team of peers.


Each day will be packed with hands-on activities to help you learn to think and act like an entrepreneur!

  • Explore the entrepreneurial mindset and the key skills for developing innovative ideas.
  • Apply the design thinking process to solve problems that matter to you.
  • Engage with local businesses and entrepreneurs who will help coach and mentor your team.
  • Pitch your team’s solutions to a panel of judges.

The dates are:
- Innovation Weekend for 6th-8th graders: October 24th-25th. Registration for Middle School HERE.
- Innovation Weekend for 9th-12th graders: November 14th-15th Registration for High School HERE
