Jury Selection Begins in Buckhead Benihana Shooting
Raphael Johnson is facing multiple felony charges for his role in two gang-related shootings back in 2013.
ATLANTA, GA -- Jury selection begins Wednesday in the trial of a man accused of playing a role in two, 2013 gang-related shootings.
Raphael Johnson is facing multiple charges from an Aug. 13 shooting in West End Village, and an Aug. 20 shooting at Benihana’s in Buckhead.
Johnson is charged with participating in criminal street gang activity; murder; armed robbery; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; and aggravated battery, among other charges.

The shootings began at what was believed to be a gambling house in West End, and then spread to a Buckhead shooting, according to the AJC.
