More Than $9 Million Planned for Cross Keys Overcrowding
The money will come from the county's education SPLOST fund.

The DeKalb Board of Education is planning to use $9.5 million in education SPLOST money to relieve overcrowding in the Cross Keys cluster of schools.
According to the AJC, school system officials presented the plan to the board of education members on Monday night.
Among the changes are renovating the International Student Center and DeKalb School of the Arts; using fewer trailers for classrooms and improving parking; building two elementary school buildings; and conducting feasibility studies on middle- and high-school capacities.
