New Alcohol Store Permit on City Council Agenda

The Brookhaven City Council meets Tuesday night at 7 pm.

A special land use permit that would allow a new alcohol store to be built on Buford Highway is on tonight’s agenda for the Brookhaven City Council.

The applicant wants to build the store at 3779 Buford Highway, site of a former McDonalds.

The development has generated some controversy in Brookhaven’s Drew Valley neighborhood, with some residents joining together to protest the project.
