Virgina Senator Creigh Deeds courageously shared his family’s experience with mental illness with the nation on 60 Minutes and now advocates for a better mental health system in his state and beyond.

Julie Hersh is president of the Hersh Foundation, an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness and author of the book Struck by Living: From Depression to Hope.

Patrick Kennedy is a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives, an author and a leading voice on improving the perception and treatment of mental illness, addiction, and other brain diseases.
