Police Seeking Suspect in Starbucks Armed Robbery

Brookhaven police are looking for a man suspected of robbing the Starbucks on 2321 N. Druid Hills Road around 6 am Tuesday morning.

Police said the suspect was waiting outside of the business for the employees to unlock the doors. “Once they began to unlock the doors the suspect pulled a black handgun and forced his way in to the business,” according to a police statement. “His face was covered with either a scarf or ski mask. The suspect demanded money from the registers and safe. He was able to receive an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the business.”

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately six feet tall, and slender build.
