Retired Chamblee Cop Treated for Poison After Guilty Verdict
Kelless Lory reportedly drank poison after being convicted of child molestation.

DECATUR, GA -- A former Chamblee police officer reportedly drank a liquid poison after being convicted of child molestation last week.
Kelless Lory, 58, of Stone Mountain was convicted on Thursday of child molestation, according to the DeKalb County DA's office. The victim was a then-9-year-old family member when the abuse occurred between July 2011 and July 2012.
The AJC is reporting that Lory drank the poison from a vitamin bottle as the jury foreman read the verdict.

Lory was taken to the DeKalb County jail, where deputies learned that Lory had drank the poison. He was then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Lory will be sentenced at a later date, according to DeKalb's DA office. He faces two life sentences plus 40 years.
