Chamblee slacked its way to the No. 15 slot, while Cordele is Georgia's hardest-working city, according to a new survey.

Zippia created the rankings by using the latest version of the American Community Survey and the U.S. Census Bureau stats. The metrics the company used for determining the laziest places in Georgia were:

  • Lowest average hours worked
  • Shortest commute time
  • Fewest workers per household (Labor force divided by the number households)
  • Highest unemployment rate

After compiling the data for the 127 places in Georgia over 5,000 people, the company ranked each place from 1 to 127 for each of the criteria with 1 being the “laziest.”
