Traffic Alert: Film Shoot To Close Airport Road

CHAMBLEE, GA — The filming of a movie will slow down traffic Tuesday around DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) as Flightway Drive is closed from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Chamblee officials announced Monday. Signs will alert motorists to traffic restrictions, and Chamblee police officers will direct traffic and provide security for the film crew.

City officials did not reveal the name of the movie. Flightway Drive connects the airport with Chamblee Tucker Road.

Tuesday's film shoot "will include special effects and pyrotechnic activities under the direction of licensed professionals," and the supervision of the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department, the officials said.
