Two DeKalb Teachers Quit Over Anti-Immigrant Comments

Remarks were made at Cross Keys High School after President-Elect Donald Trump's victory at the polls.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Two Cross Keys High School teachers in trouble for making inappropriate comments toward undocumented residents have resigned, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

In November, one of the teachers allegedly made comments voicing her approval of President-Elect Donald Trump's victory in the polls so that he could get to work removing undocumented residents from the country.

Another teacher said remarks in front of the Cross Keys students. The school body is nearly 90 percent hispanic or latino. The teachers were both "removed immediately" from the classroom, the DeKalb County School District told the AJC.
