Walking to Battle Mental Illness
A 5K is being held this weekend to benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

The 14th Annual NAMI Walks Georgia 5K is set for Saturday, Sept. 26, at Grant Park.
Check-in for the fundraising and awareness event will begin at 9 am and step-off is at 10 am. In addition to the scenic walk around Grant Park, the day will also include a variety of exhibits and entertainment.
Proceeds from the event support the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Georgia’s education programs, helpline and support services for individuals living with mental illness, and their loved ones.
