Worker Killed While Painting North Druid Hills Road
The worker was painting North Druid Hills Road on Saturday morning when he was struck by a vehicle.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA -- A worker painting North Druid Hills Road was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning. Police said Roy Rowland, 56, was hit while he was painting the road for upcoming waterline repairs. Rowland was marking North Druid Hills Road near the intersection of Kittredge Park Drive near Target.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No charges are pending at this time, police said, though the investigation is continuing.
