The nativity is a reminder of what the Christmas season is about. Several Atlanta area churches relive that magical night with a live nativity, complete with costumed characters, angels and animals. You can find a live nativity in Atlanta every weekend through Christmas Eve.
A tradition since 1954, Rock Spring Presbyterian Church’s live nativity scene is December 23-24. Sardis United Methodist Church on Power's Ferry Rd., is a simple show Dec. 10-11, and kids can pet the live animals afterwards. Lake Lanier Islands has a live nativity every weekend. Callaway Gardens has a beautiful nativity in sound and lights.
