3 Things You MUST do before #BacktoSchool

It's #BacktoSchool time in Atlanta. Before hitting the books, squeeze in one last summer escape. Here are three awesome local suggestions.

Soon the kids will be going back to school. The school buses will be starting up in some places as early as late July. It's time to squeeze in one last summer escape. Here are three options within Atlanta, or a short drive away.

See Where School Buses Go to Die. Clear the cobwebs from the summer slide and expose the kids to a little art. The School Bus Graveyard is a perfect stop on your way to one of the North Georgia lakes. Local artists have painted the sides of these buses that are assembled just off the highway as a fence to keep trespassers out of the nearby junkyard.

Stay Cool with Vintage. Vintage ice cream in Midtown that is. Vintage Frozen Custard is a cool treat for the final hot days before kids are stuck in the air conditioning of a school building. If Midtown is too far to drive, choose one of the amazing ice cream parlors in this list of the best frozen treats in Atlanta.
