Aaron's Executive Appears at White House for Signing of Veterans' HIring Bill

Greg Tanner, national director of franchising for Buckhead-based Aaron’s Inc., was invited to the White House this week as President Obama signed a new veterans hiring bill into law, according to a news release from the company.

The VOW to Hire Heroes Act combined Washington Sen. Patty Murray’s Hiring Heroes Act with Rep. Jeff Miller’s Veterans Opportunity to Work Act. It places veterans tax credits into a full package that supporters say will lower the unemployment rate among veterans.
