AMC Re-Releasing 'Purple Rain' This Weekend

AMC Theaters is re-releasing "Purple Rain" this weekend in 87 theaters, including at its locations at Phipps Plaza in Buckhead and North DeKalb Mall.

The movie, starring the late entertainer Prince, tells the story of a young musician who meets an aspiring singer, Apollonia, and finds that talent alone isn't all that he needs. A complicated tale follows of his repeating his father's self destructive behavior, losing Apollonia to another singer, and coming to grips with his own connection to other people.
