(BUCKHEAD) Dr. Miriam Alhashimi has joined Goldstein Dental Center in Buckhead, bringing advanced expertise in implants and other surgical procedures.
Dr. Alhashimi, who holds a DDS and MBA, joins practice founder Dr. Cary Goldstein, DMD, and Dr. Lawrence Sims, DDS, at the state-of-the-art Roswell Road dental center, which has proudly served Atlantans since 1995.
Dr. Alhashimi is a member of the elite 2012 Advanced Dental Implant Studies program, sponsored by The Atlanta Institute for Advanced Education. She is also a graduate of the 2011 Medical College of Georgia Maxi Implant Course.

Her specialties include all aspects of the dental implant process including planning, surgery and tooth restoration.
In her spare time, Dr. Alhashimi works with special needs children and adults, improving their lives through dental care, advocacy and outings. Earlier in her career, she spent two years focused on children's dental health in an underserved area of Texas, serving children who would otherwise not have had access to care.

Her other interests include playing guitar, martial arts and spending time with her Bernese Mountain Dog.
Dr. Alhashimi received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Arizona and received her DDS from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
