Atlanta Firefighter Accidentally Shoots Self While Driving Home

An Atlanta firefighter is recovering at Grady Memorial Hospital after he accidentally shot himself while driving home from work on Thursday morning, WSB-TV reports.

According to the station, the firefighter shot himself in the leg while driving his personal car home from work at approximately 8:30 a.m. The shooting happened near the intersection of Pollard and Ralph David Abernathy boulevards, adjacent to the third base side of Turner Field.
