Atlanta Motorist Killed by Guardrail Friday Morning
The victim's name is not being released until family is notified, police say.
A single-vehicle accident near Interstate 20 on Friday morning killed one person, Atlanta police say.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, police say the car left the roadway in the 600 block of Whitehall Street at approximately 4:20 a.m. and struck a guardrail. The guardrail broke apart and impaled the driver, the AJC reports..
Officials are not releasing the identity of the driver until the driver’s family is notified.
