Atlanta Photography Group Gallery Presents Bill Yates
On February 17th, 2016, Artist Bill Yates will present work from his highly acclaimed project "Sweetheart Roller Skating Rink".
The Atlanta Photography Group Gallery in the TULA Art Center on Bennett Street presents Artist Bill Yates who will talk about work from his highly acclaimed project “Sweetheart Roller Skating Rink” and other work for a very special Speaking of Photography.
The evening will begin with a wine and cheese reception at in the APG Gallery at 6:30pm and his presentation will begin at 7:30p in The Atrium.
Bill Yates’ “Sweetheart” series lay untouched in a box for fifty years until, at his family’s urging he began showing the work. He met with immediate success becoming a finalist for the prestigious Critical Mass Award, landing a solo exhibition at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and placing images on ACP’s The Fence.
