UPDATE: Atlanta Police Locate Missing Child
Megan Simmons had last been seen on Tuesday evening, but was found late Wednesday afternoon.
UPDATE (5:30 p.m.): Atlanta police have announced that missing 13-year-old Megan Simmons has been located.
ORIGINAL STORY (12:45 p.m.): Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help to locate a 13-year-old girl who disappeared from her home on Tuesday evening.
Megan Simmons, 13, was last seen at 2190 Niskey Lake Road in Southwest Atlanta at approximately 8:30 p.m. Simmons is described as a black female who stands 5’1” tall and weighs 110 lbs. She has black hair with brown highlights and brown eyes. Police do not know what kind of clothing she was wearing when she disappeared.

Police say that Simmons, who has a medical condition, may be in the area of Sylvan Road.
