Atlanta Public Schools Announces 2016 Graduation Schedule
Twelve graduation ceremonies will be held over May 24-27 for more than 2,400 seniors.

ATLANTA, GA -- Atlanta Public Schools (APS) will host 12 graduation ceremonies for over 2,400 seniors May 24-27, 2016 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Hall B4, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.
The 2016 graduating class has nine Gates Millennium Scholars, nine Posse Scholars, 12 Georgia Institute of Technology Scholars, and millions of dollars in scholarships awards. Additionally, 686 APS seniors qualified for the inaugural Achieve Atlanta awards. This needs-based scholarship program provides “last dollar assistance” to low-income students attending two-year and four-year colleges or a technical program, and reduces the need for students and families to apply for high interest, private loans to pay for college tuition.
Completing her second school year as superintendent, Dr. Meria J. Carstarphen will deliver remarks at all of the ceremonies.
