Atlanta Teenager Reported Missing

Atlanta police are looking for a young woman who disappeared from a tutor near Piedmont Park.

Police say that Janie Ivory, 16, was dropped off at the Kumon Learning Center of Atlanta located at 1529 Piedmont Road. She never showed up for work after the tutoring session, and her aunt reported her missing to the police. Ivory was allegedly upset that she wasn’t allowed to go to a friend’s house.

Ivory is described as a black female who stands 5’6” tall and who weighs 140 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and black leggings and carrying a black purse.
