Atlanta Woman Leaves Grady Prior to Discharge; Now Missing

The woman disappeared from the hospital almost a week ago and has not been seen since, police say.

Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help to locate a woman who disappeared after leaving Grady Memorial Hospital last week.

Sylvia Ann Brownlee, 46, left the hospital at 10:45 p.m. on April 18, before she was scheduled to be discharged. Police say Brownlee may be frequenting the West Atlanta area. Her last two addresses are on Lindsey Street and Cascade Avenue, police say.

Police describe Brownlee as a black female who stands 4’11” tall and who weighs 100 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. Police do not know what clothing Brownlee was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sylvia Ann Brownlee is asked to call 911.
