Atlantans Named to "Most Attractive People" List

A travel magazine has named Atlanta residents as one of the county’s most attractive groups of city dwellers in its most recent America’s Favorite Places list.

Travel + Leisure says that Atlanta has the eighth most attractive residents in the United States, as judged by readers of the magazine. This is the first year that the city has made the top then most attractive people list. Writing about Atlanta, the magazine says:

“[T]hey dress to the nines, ranking in the top five for luxury shopping. They can also thank their city’s intoxicating mix of a lively singles scene and enticing cocktail bars...”

Among the restaurants singled out for praise by the magazine was the Buckhead Diner. Travel + Leisure raved about the diner’s “comfort food,” including Kobe beef hot dogs and veal-and-mushroom meatloaf.
