Bankroll Fresh, Atlanta Rapper, Shot and Killed at Recording Studio

The rapper was shot and succumbed to his injuries just before midnight Friday.


ATLANTA, GA - Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed late Friday at a recording studio in Northwest Atlanta, multiple media outlets reported.

Police responded to the 1700 block of Defoor Place for the report of a person shot on Friday. As police responded to the scene at Street Execs Stuido, they observed a large crowd of people fleeing the scene. At least one person was shot at the location and was transported to the hospital in an unknown vehicle.

Police later learned there was a gunshot wound victim at Hughes Spalding Hospital. According to police, the victim was shot at Street Execs Studio. The victim succumbed to his injuries just before midnight.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed to WSB-TV that the victim was identified as Trentavious White, 28, also known as Bankroll Fresh.

Homicide Units responded to the location and processed the scene. Homeland Security also responded and recovered video evidence.
