Do you want to pamper your dog while helping other animals at the same time? The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is hosting a "Barking Brunch" this weekend from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jul. 24. A portion of the proceeds raised from ticket sales will go to the Atlanta Humane Society. There will be "Barkcuterie Boards" for the pups and human food available for their owners. Mark your calendars, Buckhead: The community is invited to come down to Old Ivy Park on Aug. 19 for a special showing of "Sing 2!" This is a special event because certain cold-blooded stars of the show will be in attendance before the movie begins at 8:30 p.m. Make sure to RSVP for a fun, music-filled evening! (Livable Buckhead)

The Buckhead Community Improvement District thanks the City of Atlanta Police Department for fighting crime in Buckhead. With a new precinct in the West Village, officers have had to spend less time on traffic incidents and are able to focus on other types of police work, such as identifying criminals.
