Basil's Damaged by Monday Morning Fire
Nobody was injured by the fire, which was quickly contained and extinguished, but the restaurant will have to close to repair the damage.

A popular Buckhead bar and grill will be closed for repairs due to a fire which broke out in the attic of the premises on Monday morning, Buckhead View reports.
At 8 a.m. Monday, a passerby noticed smoke billowing from the attic of Basil’s, located in the 2900 block of Grandview Avenue. The passerby immediately contacted 911 and fire crews were dispatched to the scene. According to Buckhead View, firefighters quickly got the fire under control. Nobody was inside Basil’s at the time.
Although nobody was hurt because of the fire, Basil’s will be closed while workers repair the damage done by the fire and by the fire hoses used to battle the blaze.

Several Buckhead organizations and businesses have reached out to Basil’s management and staff and are helping them through the trying time, Buckhead View adds.
