The Bert Show Grants Wish for Two Special Girls to Meet Taylor Swift
All the Hits Q100's Morning Radio Show Presents Meet & Greet to Two Daughters After Mother Dies of Mysterious Illness

The Atlanta community banded together on Wednesday afternoon, taking to social media to solicit the help of many including The Bert Show to grant a very special wish for the two young daughters of Stefanie Ballard, who recently passed away due to a mysterious illness just weeks after feeling ill from a day at the swimming pool. Daughters Riley, 6, and Reese, 4, have always idolized Taylor Swift and before Ballard’s passing, she had hoped to take her daughters to the Taylor Swift concert as a way to celebrate Riley’s upcoming 7th birthday.
With Taylor Swift’s tour coming to Atlanta in late October, Ballard’s dear friend Stephanie Houghton took to social media to rally the community to help her make the young girls’ dreams come true by not only attending the concert but also the opportunity to meet Taylor Swift.
“She was amazing, she really brought out the best in people”, says Houghton of Stefanie Ballard. “She was a great mom… she really, really loved being a mother and she was great at it.” Houghton goes on to say, “it really wasn’t on anyone’s radar that this was going to happen.”

All the Hits Q100 and The Bert Show wasted no time in making this dream Stefanie had for her daughters a reality and announced on the morning of Thursday, August 6th, that they have teamed up with the singer-songwriter superstar to provide a meet-and-greet for the family on Saturday, October 24 during her concert in Atlanta. The radio show also revealed that the girls will receive a day of pampering before the show, featuring a shopping spree to help pick out the perfect outfits for their night out, blowouts courtesy of DryBar, dinner before the show and limo service to and from the concert.
“If I can bring a little bit of joy to the girls lives even if it is for just a couple of hours that’s what I want to do because that’s what Stef would want for them and I want them to know that…that this is something that their mom wanted them to have and experience”, says Houghton. “I can’t help but feel like Stefanie made this happen.”

Riley is a self-proclaimed world’s biggest Taylor Swift fan, as her dad built a stage in her room with a microphone and karaoke machine where she performs her songs.
