The Bert Show Kicks Off #SuitYourself 2015
All The Hits Q100's Morning Radio Show Encourages Women to Feel Comfortable In Their Own Skin This Summer

For many, summertime is a relaxing and exciting time of year to soak up the sun, play at the pool or bask on the beach. However, this time of year can be especially difficult for women who don’t feel as comfortable in their own skin. Cassie Young, Web and Social Media Director at All the Hits Q100’s morning radio show The Bert Show, wants to change women’s mindsets during the dreaded ‘bathing suit season’ with a viral social media campaign: #SuitYourself. The ultimate goal: to promote acceptance of all body types, no matter the shape or size.
“The idea is to get rid of the fear completely by putting yourself out there for the world to see,” says Cassie. “#SuitYourself encourages women to rock what they have with pride!”
After openly struggling with body image issues for the majority of her life, Cassie knows the importance of feeling happy and beautiful in your own skin which is why she’s encouraging all women to join The Bert Show community in this initiative.

Although nervous at first to post her first #SuitYourself picture, Cassie says it was liberating. “There has not been one negative comment. It’s been an outpouring of positivity,” she explains.
The Bert Show is encouraging women to post pictures of themselves on social media channels in their swimsuits this summer with the hashtag #SuitYourself and a comment showcasing what you love about yourself in an effort to minimize the fear and show off your body this summer.
