Best-Selling Author To Discuss Drug Addiction at The Lovett School

The free event will discuss how Moyers overcame addiction and will follow with a Q&A on Oct.12.

From Lovett School:William Cope Moyers, New York Times best-selling author of Broken: My Story of Addiction and Redemption, will speak at Lovett on October 12 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Q&A to follow. The title of his lecture is: β€œAddiction and the Next Generation: A Personal Perspective on Prevention, Treatment and Recovery with Young People.” This event is free of charge and open to the community.

Moyers is a regular spokesperson for national and local media and regularly appears on Good Morning America. He has also been featured on Oprah and multiple times on CBS News, CNN, Dr. Drew, and WebMD, and in the Huffington Post.

The William Cope Moyers Evening Lecture is presented in partnership with Montford Hall, a residential recovery program for teenage boys located in Asheville, NC.
