Beyond Shopping: What to do with Relatives ON Thanksgiving DAY
After dinner what's there to do in Atlanta ON Thanksgiving Day? Plenty. Get out of the house and away from the relatives w/this list of fun.

There's only so long you can sit around the table patting your bursting belly on Thanksgiving. Once you've napped and had seconds, get out of the house and spend some time exploring Atlanta, beyond the crowded retail stores. Here are three things you can do beyond shopping.
Ice Skating. Atlanta has several seasonal ice skating rinks. There are the old favorites like Atlantic Station, and newcomers at Ponce City Market, and The Battery.
Playgrounds. Atlanta has tons of wonderful playgrounds, but if you simply must go to the mall, the kids might like the indoor playground at LEGOLAND Discovery Center.

Hikes. A brisk hike is not only fun, but it will work off some of those calories too. Atlanta has several trails for walking and biking. The Atlanta Beltline is one of our favorites, as well as the Silver Comet in Cobb County.
