Bobbie Schmitt Joins Engel and Volkers Buckhead Atlanta as Real Estate Advisor

Schmitt to her fast-growing residential real estate firm as a Real Estate Advisor. “Bobbie is the second in her family, together with her daughter Melinda McCorvey, to contribute to the success of our rapidly-growing residential real estate company,” notes Gary.

“I focus on the resale side of real estate, while Mindy specializes in working with builders in land acquisition for development,” says Schmitt, a top real estate agent who built a spectacular real estate career in Florida after earning her license in 1972.

Bobbie Schmitt earned a national reputation as a real estate ERA franchise owner who developed, maintained and grew a successful business in Orlando’s competitive market, ultimately owning three offices there. She was President of the Orlando Regional REALTORS® Association in 1989-1990 and voted REALTOR® of the Year twice, in 1989 and 1993. Driven and dedicated to the industry, she has held many committee and leadership positions and was a Director in both the Florida Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® for many years.

After marrying Tom Schmitt, a real estate developer, she sold her company and moved to Georgia, where within a few years she opened Sunnerbird Design, an interior design firm that handles residential and office interior consulting as well as refurbishment specifications, space planning, decorating and consulting.

While assisting her top-tier clientele at Engel & Volkers Buckhead Atlanta find their dream home, Schmitt will continue to operate Sunnerbird Design. “I have extensive experience in real estate as well as in interior design, and will be able to provide outstanding services to my buyers and sellers in both areas of expertise,” she notes.
